There are all kinds of different types of cards available now, and I prefer some over others and personally own 3 different sets, each for a different mood or style of angel divination question.

Guardian Angels Cards by Vanessa Lampert

Vanessa Guardian Angels are beautifully made and really appeal to my visual senses. Her set of Messages for Love and Peace are wonderfully illustrated in a collagey, artistic kind of a way . The set contains 52 angel cards and a heavenly book explaining all the different card angels in detail.

Here an exerpt form her introduction page:

Angel Messages Cards by Vanessa Lampert

This was the first set of Vanessa's Angel Cards I owned and it still intriques me with its delightfully artful style.
It celebrates the loving companionship of celestial angel guides and offers beautiful artistic collage illustrations. The faces of the angels really appela to me and the whole set is color coordinated for different sets of questions. Each card contains a message that opens up communication with our guardian angel. I always pick a card and let it tell me its story in words and pictures and try to capture the first impression that comes to mind, as for me that is always the inner pathway to my truth.

Vanessa Lampert is a medium and clairvoyant who inherited her "gifts" from her grandfather and I really love her style. These are good easy to use cards, ideally suited for beginning explorers of the angelical realms

Angel Cards for Children

When I use my angel cards my little daughter is always intriqued, often choosing her own ones and really enjoying the experience. So when I saw these Angel Cards for Kids by Diana Cooper I thought there were ideal for her. These are published by Findhorn press with simple yet appealing and inner connecting illustrations.

This set is aimed at children aged 5-10 , my little one is 4 and enjoying this simple introduction although some of the concept it deals with ie bullying are yet unfamiliar to her.

There is no book accompanying this angel set as it is aimed at children there is no need and the instructions are printed as follows :

"Your Guardian Angel is always with you. To choose a card :
Ask you angel to help you pick the right card. You may close your eyes or leave them open. Then take one card, look at the picture and read the words or ask a grown-up to read them to you. Each time you take a card your angel is giving you a message. Say the special words at the bottom of the card aloud. Always say thank yoo to your angel.

Your angel always loves you"

My daughter and I think this set is really sweet and a good introduction to embracing the angelical realms

Every person has a different way of using cards for reading, either sticking to one method only or combining different ones as you are guided to do. The main thing is to really learn to trust your intuition, capture that first thought, that first impression upon your mind once you lay eyes onto a card and have read its wording where appropraite ( some do not contain any wording only images much like tarot cards, and some offer guiding words only with no images)
