I am very fortunate to have had several angelic encounters. My angel is very involved with saving my life, teaching me, calming me, and in general making things easier.

I'm sure my angel has been active since I was an infant but my first realization of angels came when I was in middle school. One night in church my youth group and I watched a movie about the crucifixion. It was a shocking film to watch and the soundtrack was very moving. I don't think any one of us left that night with dry eyes. I went home and kneeled at the foot of my bed. I began to pray and cry my heart out.

Then I felt something behind me, and the light began to shine very brightly. I was scared and nervous so I crawled into bed and hid beneath the covers. That night I awoke, sat straight up in bed, and felt the word "worship" spoken to me. It was very calming, a warm and loving feeling came over me. I then laid back down and went immediately to sleep without a second thought.

The next experience came while I was in high school. I took my mom's sports car out for a joyride one night. It started to rain and I was speeding down a dark, windy road. The road eventually met up with the main highway but I wasn't familiar with it. I came flying down the road and didn't see the stop sign until it was too late. I slammed on the brakes but slid through the stop sign into the highway! I glanced left and there was heavy traffic immediately next to me, a road full of oncoming cars. In front of me there was (thankfully) a paved section of otherwise grassy median, then the other side of the highway. I pulled left like I was going to merge in with traffic on the other side but ending up doing a 360 right there in the median. When the car finally stopped in the median, traffic came rushing past me. It was the most terrifying thing I have ever been through. There is no way I could have survived that without an angel.

Even after that, I continued my joy ride towards the next city, down another country road. I got stuck behind a cargo truck going ridiculously slow. I began to pass the truck at an alarming speed. The storm began to get ominous then. Thunder and lighting were all around and the only thing Ifelt was "ominous". So I went home. No one ever noticed the car being gone or having more miles or less gas or anything.

I never heard a thing about it, and never took the car again.
I'm sure I kept my angel busy over the next few years but I didn't have another definite experience until I was 21. Either I was living in a haunted house or there was/is a spirit there for of one of us. Strange things happened there all the time. One evening I awoke to a bright light shining overhead, through the lightbulb and glowing largely/brightly over my abdomen. When I woke the light began to shrink back up through the lightbulb, into the cieling and disappeared. That week I discovered I was pregnant. The day we were checking out of the hospital, after I gave birth to my daughter Kayla, I saw two balls of light floating out of the corner of my eye. I tried to look directly at them but they moved, floating around the back of the bed and settling on the other side. I was alone in the room, a little concerned that I was hallucinating, and hadn't been able to get Kayla to eat for several hours.

I called the nurse in and expressed my concerns. She held Kayla, who was staring off into the ceiling, looking dazed. The nurse said to me,
" She's just talking to the angels."

Ever since then the angels have been all around us. Orbs show up in pictures all around my daughters. Every plant and fish in our home is overflowing with life. Our personal lives are contantly improving, our home radiates love and healthy, happy energy.
At times I become very anxious and suffer from anxiety attacks. I suffered from one not long ago that I believe my angel helped me out of. I had begun to feel very fearful, my heart and mind were racing. I couldn't seem to calm myself down so I got into the shower. I tried deep breathing exercises but I couln't slow down my thoughts. I closed my eyes to try meditating. In my eyelids an image appeared to me of several triangles. I then saw a man holding his hands together in the shape of a triangle. The images were brief and at first confusing. I followed the man's example though, and put my hands together to form a triangle.

IMMEDIATELY I felt a release of all the nervous energy. It felt like the energy was rushing out through my hands. All of the negative was released and I was left feeling totally refreshed. It was amazing and insightful and I am totally thankful for the help that was so uniquely shown to me.

I am forever grateful for all of the help and love I receive from my guardian angel. I wish I could see and personally know my angel. I feel like he/she knows me so intimately but I know so little about him/her. It would be so awesome to know more about the angelic being that has done so much for me , and also to better express the love and gratitude I feel.
