Instructions
for Perler Bead Angel Creations
(or Hama Beads in Europe)
|
~
print out the perler bead pattern for the angel of your choice
~ you can choose the given colours or substitute with favourite colours
of your choice
~ choose a square baseboad and follow the pattern by adding your beads and
glitter beads
Directions for assembling (fusing) your Perler Bead Craft
1 ~. Place beads of
your choice on to the pegboard according to the pattern of your chosen
angel design.
2. ~ When happy with
the arrangement place the board on to an ironing board or cover flat surface
with protective cloth ( an old towel or so) .
3. ~ Take the Perler/Hama
Ironing Paper, and place it loosely on top of your angel bead design,
ensuring that all beads are evenly covered.
4.~ Set your iron
to "hot", then place the iron firmly onto the angel bead creation
with careful but firm pressure. Now start moving the iron from side to
side . This is a gently and slow movement until the beads are starting
to fuse together by the applied heat. The Ironing Paper will start to show
the beads through it.
5. ~ Watch carefully
and when the beads have all fused together then you can carefully lift
of the Perler Ironing Paper on one corner only to test readiness.
Note: the (holes of the perler beads or hama beads should still
be visible in the centres). When you lift the paper an ome beads are still
moving then simply replace the paper again and iron a bit longer.
6. ~ After your angel
design is completly fused leave to cool few seconds and then remove the
ironing paper from the entire design.
7. ~ After your Angel
bead Craft is completly cool remove it from the square perler board
To make sure that your Perler craft is longlasting repeat the ironing
process on the other side of the angel design. After you finished that
it is a good idea to place the finished angel design under a heavy book
or between someting equally heavey for a few minutes to cool it into an
absolutely flat shape
Important: Hama Beads are a potential choking hazard - not
suitable for under 36 months.
The Ironing of designs should only be done by an adult
and for older children under adult supervision.
